Roland XJ-740 100% nozzle test print loss for Yellow and Black

Initial Problem:

Client lost Yellow and Black entirely. They stated this has been an on going issue and happened before. Client not sure what previous tech did to resolve issue. Client only using CMKY and appropriate profile to eliminate the use of LC & LM currently, on this printer.

Initial Findings:

Black captop was stopped up. Yellow was fine. All 4 (CMYK) captops were after market, not recommended.

Resolution and more findings:

Replaced the Yellow and Black captops (will change the Cyan & Magenta at a later date). Pump B is not pulling ink from Yellow and Black. Waste tubes stopped up as well, replaced both wast tubes on pump B.

Manual pull of ink ok. Swapped to pump A and pulled ink better.

Possible bad pump.

Test print was 100% for all nozzles.

Media width was not being read properly. Cleaned sensor and readjusted. Media width now being detected.
